Edward Colon, M.S., P.A.-C.
Edward Colon served with
distinction in the United States Army, retiring as a medical officer in 1987
after more than 22 years of active military service. He has been practicing
family medicine and emergency medicine for more than 37 years.
Colon provides personalized care
for patients of all ages. Communication and patient interaction are extremely
important to him. He makes an effort to spend as much time as needed with each
of his patients, listening to them and making sure they have all of their
questions answered. He sees himself as friendly, caring and thorough, doing his
best to make his patients feel at ease.
Colon also enjoys teaching health
providers and has taught in the military at the physician assistant school from
which he graduated. He has also taught in the L.V.N. program and in the
paramedic school. He currently serves as the preceptor for physician assistant
and nurse practitioner students during their clinical rotations.
In his free time, Colon enjoys
spending time with his children and six grandchildren and travelling with his
wife of 46 years.
