Take Charge of Your Health

It all starts with primary care. Healthy or sick, young or old, having a dedicated health partner can make a big difference. PCPs help you stay healthy with preventive care, immunizations and screenings, and can diagnose and manage a wide range of illnesses. By developing a trusted relationship with your PCP, you can feel confident taking charge of your health and knowing they can easily coordinate advanced, specialized care through the Memorial Hermann network of specialty physicians.

With a dedicated PCP, you have access to:

  • Routine and preventive care, including physical exams, immunizations and screenings
  • Diagnosis and ongoing care for chronic health conditions
  • In-person or virtual appointments for routine or urgent care
  • Convenient appointment times, including same-day options
  • Convenient locations throughout Greater Houston
  • 24/7 telephone support from registered nurses with our Nurse Health Line
  • A network of specialists for additional care needs
Benefits of Having a Primary Care Provider

In addition to in-person care, Memorial Hermann provides a variety of flexible scheduling options to be seen virtually through virtual office visits with a primary care provider or through a virtual urgent care visit.

Memorial Hermann’s virtual office visit provides an easy way to connect with your provider through a scheduled video or telephone appointment. Through virtual office visits, you can receive care for common illnesses and chronic diseases, schedule your annual wellness check-up or get a prescription refill.

Memorial Hermann-GoHealth virtual urgent care visits can be used to diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions, from allergies and rashes to sprains and bug bites, UTIs, pink eye, coughs, colds, flu and much more. You can usually get a virtual urgent care visit within hours of your booking and enjoy the same high-quality care as you would in person

Need health information fast?

Not all questions require an appointment. The Memorial Hermann 24/7 Nurse Health Line is a free triage service staffed by specially trained registered nurses. Our nurses are available to speak with you on the phone, anytime day or night, to answer your health questions and direct you to a nearby care facility, if necessary. Call (713) 338-7979 or (855) 577-7979.

*The Nurse Health Line is not for emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
