The Mischer Neuroscience Institute is the largest and most comprehensive neuroscience program in Texas. Rockets Sports Medicine Institute
The Memorial Hermann | Rockets Sports Medicine Institute is a comprehensive sports medicine clinic located in the Texas Medical Center in Houston, Texas. The Institute brings together highly trained experts in sports science, orthopedics, orthopedic surgery, rehabilitation, physical therapy, human performance science, strength and conditioning and sport nutrition to help athletes of all ages and abilities prevent injury, recover from injury and improve performance to reach their personal athletic goals. Red Duke Trauma Institute

Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital has been serving the community for over 20 years and is the primary teaching hospital for the pediatrics and obstetrics/gynecology programs at The University of Texas Medical School at Houston. Memorial Hermann | Rockets Orthopedic Hospital
Rockets Orthopedic Hospital brings Memorial Hermann’s exemplary standards for patient safety, quality and excellence to a facility that is focused solely on orthopedic and spine care. John S. Dunn Burn Center
Part of the Texas Trauma Institute at Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center, the John S. Dunn Burn Center is the only comprehensive burn center in Houston and is verified by the American Burn Association. The Burn Center treats more than 300 patients annually and the board certified physicians care for all types of burn injury, inhalation injury and various skin disorders. The team provides critical care, acute inpatient care, burn reconstruction and scar management, and rehabilitation.
Cancer Center
The Cancer Center helps thousands find hope and healing each year. Our affiliated physicians and specialists in a variety of disciplines work together to improve survival rates and quality of life for people with cancer. Oncologists and researchers at Memorial Hermann-TMC have taken cancer treatment to the next level, using proteomics to type tumors molecularly and deliver more personalized medicine. The Center provides leading-edge treatment and procedures for more than 12 types of cancer including breast, gastrointestinal, and lung.
Centers for Advanced Cardiology
The Centers for Advanced Cardiology are located throughout the Greater Houston area and are a department of the Center for Advanced Heart Failure at Larry D. Johnson Heart & Vascular Institute at Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center. Affiliated Interventional Cardiologists are members of the faculty at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth and specialize in the detection, treatment and prevention of diseases of the heart.
Ertan Digestive Disease Center
The Digestive Disease Center provides comprehensive medical and surgical treatment for patients with diseases of the esophagus, stomach, intestine, pancreas, biliary tract and liver. Under the care of our affiliated physicians, patients receive innovative and effective gastroenterology treatments. Sleep Disorders Center
Accredited in 1993, the Sleep Disorders Center was one of the first in Houston to achieve accreditation by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. Affiliated physicians and highly skilled technologists have expertise in advanced methods of treatment for sleep-disordered breathing. The Center operates under the direction of nationally and internationally recognized academic sleep specialists, who are involved in transformative research, and provides a safe environment for children and adults with significant heart, lung and neuromuscular disease.
Texas Liver Center
Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center broke new ground in 1985 for the treatment of end-stage liver disease as the site of Houston’s first liver transplant. Today, the Texas Liver Center leads the region as the most comprehensive and innovative treatment center for patients with chronic and acute liver diseases. In 2004, our transplant team, together with our surgical intensive care unit, was honored with a National Award for Excellence from the American Liver Foundation. The team performs more than 50 liver transplants annually, about 10% of which are pediatric patients. The center has an overall one-year adult survival rate exceeding 90% , with a 100% success rate in pediatric transplantation.

The mission of the Transplant Center at Memorial Hermann Hospital-Texas Medical Center is to provide hope and life-restoring care to patients with end-stage organ failure. As a regional and national leader in the field of transplantation, our experienced physicians and staff provide state-of-the-art, compassionate, multidisciplinary care to adult and pediatric patients with end stage liver, kidney, pancreas, and heart disease.
Memorial Hermann Wound Care
Memorial Hermann Wound Care at Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center was one of the first wound care centers in the region and nearly 25 years later, is the longest running wound care center offering unparalleled experience in the Houston area. The center is the only multi-place chamber in the city of Houston and the only advanced wound care center in the Texas Medical Center. It has an eight-year accreditation with the Undersea Hyperbaric and Medical Society and provides state-of-the-art wound management, including hyperbaric oxygen therapy from trained medical personnel in the Hyperbaric Medicine Unit. The center offers the latest and most effective dressing and technologies, both of which assist in efficient healing of even the most stubborn wounds. Specialized physicians and staff are trained in the latest advanced wound care techniques.
