Our providers have years of experience in family medicine, internal medicine and endocrinology. They are trained in diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disease and skilled in managing diabetes, hypertension, infectious diseases, kidney disorders and other chronic conditions.
Dr. Eva Ayala Hadzisabic treats patients for a variety of ailments, including acute and chronic health conditions ranging from a cough or cold to high blood pressure and diabetes. Her special interests are in women’s health, preventive medicine, diabetes and obesity management.
Dr. Richard Carney received his undergraduate degree from Baylor University and his medical degree from UT Health San Antonio Medical School. He completed both his internship and residency in internal medicine at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth in Houston. Dr. Carney is board-certified in internal medicine. Among the many conditions he treats, Dr. Carney has special interests in hypertension, diabetes and heart disease.
Dr. Angela Carrero earned her medical degree, with distinction, from Juan N. Corpas Medical School in Bogotá, Colombia. She completed her residency training in internal medicine at the New York Presbyterian Healthcare System, an affiliate of Cornell University Medical School in New York, New York. Fluent in Spanish, Dr. Carrero provides highly personalized care to her patients, ages 18 and older. Her special interests include diabetes, asthma and hypertension.
Dr. Zhihao Dai is board certified in internal medicine and has special interest in preventive medicine as well as chronic and acute diseases. Fluent in Chinese, Dr. Dai treats patients 18 years of age and older and believes that listening to his patients is essential to providing quality health care.
Dr. Pernia Latif is board certified in internal medicine and obesity medicine and she treats patients 18 years and older. Dr. Latif earned her medical degree at Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan. After earning her medical degree, she completed her residency at Hennepin Country Medical Center. Dr. Latif sees patients for sick visits and managing chronic conditions.
Dr. Edward Nicklas, II earned his medical degree from East Carolina University School of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and his endocrinology fellowship at University of Virginia. He enjoys the science and problem-solving aspects of medicine as well as forming relationships with his patients.
Dr. Grace Odi received her medical degree from UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. She went on to complete her internal medicine residency at the University of Illinois in Chicago. Dr. Odi provides care for routine annual physical exams and treats a variety of acute and chronic medical conditions, such as cold and flu symptoms, diabetes, hypertension and high cholesterol, as well as anxiety and depression. Being an advocate for preventive medicine, she has clinical interests in educating patients on nutrition and exercise.
Dr. Hina Pandya studied medicine at the Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus, Ohio, and completed her internship in internal medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. She completed her residency at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth in Houston.
Dr. Eva Salcedo treats patients 18 years of age and older and has a special interest in diabetes and geriatrics. Fluent in Filipino and conversant in Spanish, Dr. Salcedo emphasizes patient education and lifestyle counseling to her patients.
Dr. Tiana Shiver earned her medical degree from UT Health San Antonio Medical School and completed her internship and residency at Albany Medical Center in Albany, New York. She also completed a fellowship in clinical endocrinology at the National Institute of Diabetes, Digestive and Kidney Disease of the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland.
Dr. Sonia Singh received a master’s in human nutrition from Columbia College of Physicians & Surgeons prior to pursuing her medical degree at UCSD School of Medicine in La Jolla, California. She went on to complete her internal medicine residency at Stanford Hospital & Clinics. Board certified in internal medicine, she considers a primary care office the first stop for diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and sinus infections, as well as annual physicals and preventive screenings.
Dr. Coco Williard earned her medical degree at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth in Houston, and completed a combined Internal Medicine and Pediatric residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Williard sees patients from newborn and older for acute episodic care, chronic disease management and health surveillance. She also offers well-woman exams. She has special interests in preventive medicine and helping her patients maintain long-term wellness, which includes providing advice on good sleep habits, diet, exercise and vaccinations.
