Memorial Hermann Medical Group offers a science-based medical weight management program that is designed to help you lose weight and resolve or manage weight-related conditions, such as sleep apnea, diabetes, high blood pressure and more. Our affiliated weight loss specialists, who are at the forefront of obesity medicine, will create and help you follow a physician-guided plan for weight loss and long-term wellness. The program aims to bridge the gap between behavior and biology, to help you become a stronger partner with yourself, apply healthy behaviors more consistently and achieve your short- and long-term health and weight goals. While each plan is tailored to a patient’s specific needs, your plan may include one or more of the following:

• Nutrition education
• Physical activity
• Mental health counseling
• Behavior modification
• Medication
• Sleep therapies

Although this program does not include surgical weight loss, the weight management team does collaborate with surgeons to help patients lose weight in preparation for surgery and support postoperative patients who have regained weight.

Memorial Hermann Medical Group (MHMG) The Woodlands Medical Weight Management is conveniently located on the corner of Research Forest Dr. and Grogans Mill Rd.

If coming from the west or south – drive north on Grogan’s Mill, drive just past Research Forest and turn right into the Community Bank of Texas parking lot to access MHMG. If coming from the east on Research Forest, turn right into the parking lot when you see the MHMG road sign.
