Dr. Nabeel Nazir, DO

Dr. Nabeel Nazir earned his undergraduate degree in biology with a specialization in developmental genetics at Stony Brook University in New York and his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Florida. He completed his residency in the Memorial Family Medicine Residency.

Dr. Nazir is a board-certified family medicine specialist who also holds certificates in basic life support, pediatric advanced life support, neonatal advanced life support, advanced life support in obstetrics and advanced cardiac life support.

He sees patients of all ages and speaks fluent Urdu and Hindi.

His primary clinical interests are preventative care, smoking cessation, diabetes management and office procedures such as joint injections and skin biopsies. He treats a variety of primary care conditions from ankle sprains and lower back pain to chronic conditions like diabetes, cholesterol and thyroid issues.

Dr. Nazir approaches patient care on a personal level. Because he sees every patient as different, it’s important for him to actively listen and work as a team to provide the best care each one needs and deserves.

He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, Texas Academy of Family Physicians and American Osteopathic Association.

An avid traveler, Dr. Nazir has been to more than 50 countries throughout the world. He also enjoys outdoor activities including hiking and ziplining; health and fitness; and teaching.
