Harim Im, ACNP-AG, CCRN

Advanced practice provider Harim Im is board certified as an acute care nurse practitioner specializing in adult gerontology and a critical care registered nurse. Harim also holds certificates in basic life support and advanced cardiovascular life support. He speaks Spanish and Korean.

Harim earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Pensacola Christian College and his Master of Science in Nursing-Acute Care Nurse Practitioner from Grand Canyon University.

His primary clinical interests are intensive care and cardiology, areas that demand meticulous attention and care. Building meaningful connections with patients and their families is at the heart of his approach, and he strives to be more than just a health care provider. He focuses on being a compassionate, empathetic and loving presence for his patients, someone who is recognized for respectfulness, honesty and dedication to his patients’ well-being. He fosters a trustworthy and transparent relationship with those in his care.

Harim’s career was inspired by a profound desire to make a meaningful impact on the lives of people in underserved areas. The son of a Christian missionary, he grew up seeing the transformative effect of short-term medical missions, where a collaborative effort of physicians, pharmacists, nurses, aides and health care professionals provided essential care.

He finds great professional satisfaction in offering a holistic approach to healthcare. Understanding patients on a deeper level allows him to tailor care to their unique needs, ensuring a patient-centered experience.

Harim is married and the father of three. In his spare time, he enjoys hobbies that provide balance to his professional life, including cooking, playing the guitar, church activities and engaging in household repairs.
