Dawnyelle Springs, MSN,APRN, FNP-BC

With a background that includes ambulatory clinic, acute care and home health care settings, advanced practice provider Dawnyelle Springs is proficient in delivering effective diagnosis, assessments and treatment plans. She holds certifications in basic life support, advanced cardiovascular life support and stroke scale assessment.

Dawnyelle earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western Governors University in Salt Lake City and her Master of Science in Nursing from Houston Baptist University.

Her professional experience includes medical-surgical telemetry, urology and telehealth, and her primary clinical interests are preventive care, nutrition and weight management, urological health for men and women, diabetic management and geriatric care.

Dawnyelle was motivated to choose a healthcare career by her desire to provide the best evidence-based practice care and develop trusting relationships with her patients. She listens to her patients’ concerns, processes the information, identifies their problems, implements the best plan of action and follows up to ensure positive outcomes. 

For her the most satisfying part of being a healthcare provider is establishing a compassionate environment by providing psychological, emotional and spiritual support to patients and their families.

She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, the American Nurses Association and Texas Nurses Association.

In her leisure time, Dawnyelle enjoys traveling, reading, cooking and spending time with her family and loved ones.
