Parenting for Mom and Dad: Fostering Well-being and Family Health

In this session, moms and dads attendance together is strongly encouraged. Parents will explore more about the risks to mental, emotional, and physical health during pregnancy and/or within 12 months of becoming parents. Topics includes “baby blues”, postpartum anxiety, and depression (PPD), and other maternal complications such as hypertension, and postpartum hemorrhage. Will provide practical self-help tools and resources to aid families. In addition, parents will identify strategies through interactive activities to help identify maternal early warning signs and examine healthy ways for managing stress as parents.
