As part of the Memorial Hermann Medical Group (MHMG), the Vanguard Urologic Institute-Memorial City provides medical treatment to infants, children and adolescents with disorders of the genital tract and urinary system. Some of the urological conditions treated include circumcisions, anomalies of the kidney, vesicoureteral reflux, obstructions of the urinary tract, hypospadias, voiding dysfunction, disorders and anomalies of the testes, enuresis and anomalies of the bladder, and kidney stones.
The pediatric urology team at Vanguard Urologic Institute Clinic understands the impact that these disorders can have on children and their families. We believe in working together with the parents to determine the right treatment plan for their child. We offer high quality care combined with state-of-the-art medical and surgical treatment in a family-friendly setting.
Dr. Jason Au graduated cum laude from The University of Miami and received his medical degree from The University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He completed his urology residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, and completed his fellowship in pediatric urology at Texas Children’s Hospital. Dr. Au sees patients ages newborn to 18 years old, treating all pediatric urologic conditions, including congenital and acquired genitourinary abnormalities. His clinical interests include hypospadias, ureteropelvic junction (UPJ) obstruction, vesicoureteral reflux, kidney trauma, and neurogenic bladder.
