Pediatrician Dr. Susan Winchell graduated from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. She then completed her internship and residency in pediatrics through a Baylor College of Medicine affiliated residency program at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, TX. Surgeon Dr. David Stapenhorst earned his medical degree and completed his residency in general surgery at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock. Family nurse practitioner Janie M. Avila received a Master of Science in Nursing from Prairie View A&M University School of Nursing in Houston in 2009. She also earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Prairie View in 2004 and has more than 18 years of nursing experience.
