What Do Neurologists Do?

Neurologists are physicians that specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological disorders or diseases related to the brain, spinal cord, and the central and peripheral nervous system. They deal with conditions like multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, meningitis, stroke, epilepsy, headache, cerebral palsy, etc. All neurologists on our panel are board-certified or board-eligible physicians who have completed medical school and residency training in neurology. Most neurologists complete neurology fellowship(s) to sub-specialize in the treatment of epilepsy, multiple sclerosis and movement disorders, to name a few.
