Michael W. Jackson, M.D., is a board certified family medicine physician serving patients 6 months of age and older. After graduating summa cum laude from Baylor University, Dr. Jackson earned his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and then completed his residency at 96th Medical Group Hospital at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida. At a young age, Dr. Jackson knew he wanted to work in a profession that helped people, and he saw medicine as a way to help people get back to their routines by taking care of them.
Dr. Jackson sees patients for a variety of reasons including injuries such as sprains, cuts, broken bones, illnesses such as colds, sinus infections, allergies, and sports physicals. His clinical interests include urgent care aspects of family medicine.
In relating to his patients, Dr. Jackson listens to each patient’s concerns and then creates a plan that will be the best option for each individual patient. For him, the best part of his job is helping people with acute illnesses or injuries get better and return to their regular activities.
In his spare time, Dr. Jackson enjoys spending time with his wife and two children and participating in or watching all types of sports including football, soccer, martial arts, and golf.
