Dr. Salah E. El Hafi graduated with honors from the University of Paris School of Medicine in France and completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Connecticut. He completed his fellowship in cardiology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and Tulane University Medical School in New Orleans, Louisiana, where he later served as an assistant professor of medicine/cardiology.
Board certified in internal medicine and cardiology, Dr. Hafi has practiced medicine in Houston since 1984. He specializes in interventional cardiology.
Dr. El Hafi strives to provide each patient with the highest quality cardiac care. He and his associates are committed to providing state-of-the-art, evidence-based care across the full spectrum of cardiovascular diseases. He offers many common diagnostic tests in the comfort of his office. Dr. El Hafi is fluent in French, Spanish and Arabic.
He is a member of the American Heart Association, American College of Cardiology (ACC), Texas Chapter of the ACC, Texas Medical Association and Harris County Medical Society.
Dr. El Hafi and his wife have two children and three grandchildren. He enjoys reading, traveling, golf and and swimming.
