Jon Heine, M.D., F.A.C.C., is an interventional cardiologist with more than 40 years of practice experience. Dr. Heine graduated from the University of Missouri, Columbia School of Medicine in 1971. He continued at the University of Missouri, Columbia School of Medicine, completing a residency in Internal Medicine and a Cardiology Fellowship before serving for two years at the Patuxent River Naval Hospital in Maryland.
Board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology, Dr. Heine sees patients 18 years and older. His clinical interests include coronary artery disease, hypertension (high blood pressure), and hyperlipidemia (high cholesterol).
Among his many honors, Dr. Heine earned the James S. Rollins Medical Award, and was named to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society University of Missouri, Columbia School of Medicine. Texas Monthly Magazine named Dr. Heine to its “Texas Super Doctors” list three times, and US News & World Report named him as a “Top 1,000 Cardiologist in the U.S.” In addition, Memorial City Hospital named Dr. Heine Physician of the Year in 2011.
Dr. Heine and his wife, Mary Sue, have two children, Ryan Bradley Heine and Kimberly Daron Heine. When not working or spending time with his family, Dr. Heine enjoys playing golf.
