Emily Hollis, Certified Physician Assistant received her bachelor and master’s degrees from the University of Nebraska Medical Center through the military’s Interservice Physician Assistant Program. Hollis served multiple healthcare positions in the U.S. Army Reserve and these experiences encouraged her to pursue a full-time career in medicine.
Hollis treats patients from 2 years to adults and is available to see walk-ins. Hollis treats a wide array of conditions and sees patients for episodic conditions like colds, allergies, earaches, Urinary tract infections, minor injuries, school physicals, and also performs in-office procedures. Approachable and a good listener, Hollis emphasizes wellness and a healthy lifestyle with her patients. She enjoys connecting with patients and assisting them with an approach that will be most beneficial to a healthier life.
Hollis sees herself as a coach and mentor for her patients. “I sit down, look them in the eye, listen to what they have to say and I give my patients an easy routine to a healthier lifestyle,” said Hollis. Giving her patients confidence and reassurance is important to Hollis because even though a change can be intimidating, she finds a way the patients can feel comfortable when adopting new diets and habits.
In her spare time, she enjoys outdoor activities like scuba diving, hiking, exercising and traveling.
